About Us Ministries Vision Mission Beliefs History

HISTORY:

The history of Third Day Missions Church starts in 1996 when Daniel Delgado met Samuel Rodriguez who would be his Pastor then Bishop.  In 1997 a vision of a Third Day Church was birthed in the heart of Samuel Rodriguez.  The passage of Hosea 6:2 would resonate in our hearts “After two days he will revive us: in the third day he would raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”  In that same year Daniel Delgado was ordained as a Pastor to serve in the developing missions.  It was then that the vision for Third Day Missions was birthed in his heart.  A vision to impact communities Spiritually, Socially and Economically.  The eradication of the impoverished mind set within the Body of Christ to make true witnesses to a spiritually impoverished stricken world.  To bring forth the revelation of Christ to a hurting world “that none should perish”.

In 2007 two families gathered together with Pastor Delgado to answer the call of God on his life and plant Third Day Missions Church.   A church that would be a training center with a vision to grow leaders in the five fold ministry with a Kingdom mentality, dedicated to excellence, integrity, holinesses and sound biblical foundation.  The story of Third Day Missions Church is still being written.   This first year we have seen the unmerited favor of God upon our Pastor as he was entrusted with a national platform as the Regional Director of New York and New Jersey for The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and most recently promoted to the Executive Board as VP of Strategic  Partnerships.

Today, Third Day Missions Church carries forth the Christ Centered, Transformational Kingdom Culture mission of Third Day Church and as the daughter of that vision, is dedicated to being a catalyst of reformation in the Body of Christ as we partner with kingdom minded ministers who yearn to see the Earth covered with God’s Glory.    Today we celebrate this milestone understanding that the work has just begun and there is much ground to cover.  So we press on to the higher call following the founder of the church Jesus the Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith.
